A 6 day residence camp for boys and girls ages 13 through High School at White Pass Resort, Washington.

Welcome to Clear Lake/White Pass Cross Country Camp

Established in 1974, the Clear Lake/White Pass Cross Country Camp is the oldest continuously running Cross Country Camp in the Northwest. The camp differentiates itself from other running camps by presenting a program designed to help all campers develop their skills, regardless of abilities or experiences.


Since 1984 the camp has been based at White Pass Ski Resort and Condominiums. This site allows a training elevation between 4500-6000 feet. Every year over 420 runners from all over the Northwest, Alaska & California attend the camp.

Classes

The comprehensive educational program includes lectures and group discussions on issues such as nutrition, injury prevention, race strategy, flexibility, cross training, college preparation, goal setting, leadership development, running in college, uphill & downhill running technique, workout planning and more.

Technique Analysis

A Running Technique Analysis is conducted for each camper.



Mentoring

Training and conversation with collegiate and other elite runners.

Challenging Runs

Cross country relay activities, the Mountain Challenge run, and the end of camp Time Trial.

Other Activities

The camp features a volleyball tournament, swimming, dances, movies and hiking.



New Friendships

Make friends and meet other runners from around the Northwest.

Training Skills

Team building games, medicine ball drills, plyometrics for runners, daily runs and workouts, and much more.

Awards

End of camp Awards Ceremony, parents welcome.
